BIOS: Dr. Suresh T. Hedau, obtained his doctorate from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He joined ICMR-NICPR as a Scientist and has been actively engaged in the field of molecular oncology for the last 30 years. He has published several research articles in reputed refereed national/international journals and presented research papers in a national and international symposiums/conferences. Dr. Hedau guided/mentored a number of Ph.D., MD, Post-doc fellows,
M.Sc and undergraduates. He identified three novel mutations in the BRCA1 gene in familial breast cancer patients. He received extra-mural grants as PI, Co-Investigator from several funding agencies. Currently, he is working on the therapy-resistance model in breast cancer.
