BIOS: Dr.Bharadwaj did her Post-Doctoral fellowship in USA from Chicago Medical School, Chicago & University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. She was Research Assistant Professor in Department of Pathology, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, USA.
After joining to ICMR-NICPR as senior scientist, received several extramural projects International (WHO-HPV LabNet; ICMR-Indo-German Task-force project) and National level (DHR, ICMR, DST, CSIR) as independent researcher. She is having 103 publications and published five (5) book chapters.
She mentored 14 Ph.D., 17 Post-Doctoral and 15 MD/MS/DNB students.
Conducted eight (8) hands-on workshop as Course Director and delivered several invited lectures.
She got elected as Fellow of National Academy of Science India (FNASc.) and Fellow of Academy of Science & Technology, West Bengal
Research Interests: More than 30 years of research experience. Major research areas are:  Investigation of Molecular signature in Human Papillomavirus (HPV) associated cancers e.g. cervical cancer, oral and prostate cancer; Investigation of Molecular biomarkers for endometrium cancer, reproductive tract infections, and oral cancer; Development of second-generation HPV vaccines; Study on noncoding RNA biology: microRNA and long non-coding RNA
