Dr.Kavitha Dhanasekaran

BIOS: I am a trained Gynecologist, preventive oncologist, colposcopist working as Scientist-D in the department of Clinical Oncology, ICMR-National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India). My core work involves cancer screening (preventable common cancers like cervical, breast and oral cancer) and research in this area. I am Involved in the capacity building of healthcare professionals in various cadre in cancer screening through online courses and in-person trainings. I have authored various national and international publications. I have authored/co-authored various training modules on cervical cancer screening released by ICMR-NICPR.
