BIOS: I am currently working as Scientist-C at ICMR- National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research, Noida. I am a trained statistician and public health researcher with more than 8 years of experience in designing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of research studies in nutrition and child health, Water Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) and Family Planning. I also have extensive experience of managing large scale survey data. Before joining ICMR-NICPR, I have worked with International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) and Population Council. I have led the design and analysis for the evaluation Personal Advancement & Career Enhancement (P.A.C.E.) program which is intended to build women’s knowledge and skill for driving change in WASH behavior and improving women’s involvement in decision-making. I have conducted review of India’s Family Planning policies to examine positioning of men in the policy documents over time and another review of COVID-19 related policies for many countries to examine gender sensitiveness of the policy as part of the COVID-19 Sex-Disaggregated Data tracker project. At Population Council I was leading the anthropometric data analysis for Comprehensive National Nutrition Survey (CNNS). I was also involved in preparing survey tools, state-level training for field investigators and monitoring data collection.
