BIOS: I am a research scientist working in the area of Preventive oncology and Health Education on Prevention of Initiation and Promotion of Cessation of Tobacco Smoking programme in Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics with more than 25 years of progressive work experience. I had also worked for about 6 years in areas of Occupational health, silicosis and asbestosis in Occupation Medicine and Epidemiology Division. I have completed all modules online certificate course on global tobacco control from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Research Interests: Primary and Secondary preventable risk factors and modification of lifestyle risk factor in prevention of cancer in community.
