BIOS: Dr. Nazneen Arif joined NICPR-ICMR as Scientist D in the month of August, 2021. She is a medical microbiologist by profession with experience in SARS-CoV-2 testing and training. She completed her MBBS from Assam Medical College in the year 2011,  and MD from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 2016, following which she started working at AIIMS, New delhi as Senior Resident. She had been the Undergraduate Teaching-in-charge for MBBS students during the tenure August2016 to December 2019. Her area of interests include Bacteriology, STIs, Anaerobic  microbiology and Mycoplasms
Research Interests: Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma Infections, Burkholderia Cepacia Complex, SARS CoV-2, Helicobacter pylori and Gastric Carcinoma, NGNCU
